From the founders of SOAS-

“We were next door neighbors who bonded over a love of triathlon.

And with all the miles and hours put into training, we came to question the status quo with what clothing was currently offered to women endurance athletes.
Such as…

Why are our clothes tight where we are most self-conscious, but loose where we need support?

Why do we always have chafing after a long ride/run/race?

Why are people on teams the only ones that get matching outfits?

Why is it so hard to find small items like salt tabs and chapstick under jackets etc. in big jersey pockets?

So one evening, after lots of brainstorming and wine (antioxidants…very good for recovery!), we decided we could make our own clothes. Clothes that addressed these issues. Clothes that are functional, stylish, and able to withstand the rigors of high-mileage training and racing. Clothes that flatter a woman’s body (as much as spandex can!) As girls, we know where things tend to chafe, how much support is needed where, and where to put the items women like to take with them on long rides and runs. We addressed all these issues in the design of our clothes.

Thus, SOAS was born.” www.soasracing.com

Anthony Torres of Santa Barbara will soon go on his wish to visit Cars Land at Disneyland. He is a darling 7-year-old born with a complicated abdominal anomaly that requires multiple drugs. He will need a transplant when he is able to tolerate it.

The family was at first very reluctant to accept a wish from Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties because they didn’t want Anthony to feel like there was something wrong and he was different from other kids. Thanks to the persuasion of two bridesmaids at Anthony’s aunt’s wedding, the family looked into it and actually contact Make-a-Wish to refer Anthony.

We have a 2012 Specialized Camber 29er Medium (black) for $1800 (reg $2200)

Designed to get out and explore, the Camber is a classic well rounded trail bike every rider will enjoy. With a custom RockShox Monarch RL shock with AUTOSAG, Tektro Draco 2 hydraulic disc brakes, and Shimano 9-speed drivetrain, the Camber 29 create a lightweight full suspension bike that is comfortable on any trail.

New M5 alloy FSR frame with 29er-specific geometry has 110mm of travel, 142+ dropouts, an all new concentric sealed cartridge shock link and features internal cable routing for the Command Post BlackLite to create a lightweight and responsive trail weapon

RockShox Monarch RL air shock with Specialzied’s proprietary AUTOSAG smooths the trail and is simple and accurate to set up

Specialized Hi Lo disc hub has a higher flange on the disc side, which stiffens the 29er wheel in this high-stress area. Combined with 142+ spacing, OS28 end caps, and sealed cartridge bearings, this wheelset punches well above its weight

Responsive RockShox XC 30 29 coil spring fork with 100mm of travel uses externally adjustable rebound, Turn Key damping, and lockout for fine-tuned bump performance

The 2.3″ Ground Control tire has a fast rolling and versatile tread for premium traction on technical trails

The 700mm-wide Specialized XC Mini Riser handlebar is built to control rough trail riding

All-new Sip Grip, a lock-on, Aramid infused, half-waffle MTB grip boosts durability, comfort and control

Tektro Draco 2 hydraulic disc brakes/levers with Light Wave rotors create increased control and superior stopping power for more confident descents

The 9-speed Shimano Shadow rear derailleur shifts super crisp and has increased clearance from trail obstacles

Specialized Body Geometry Riva features patented BG design for increased blood flow to sensitive areas
